Potential Health Effects
Eye:
May cause moderate eye irritation.
Skin:
May cause moderate skin irritation.
Ingestion:
May cause gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. May cause methemoglobinemia, cyanosis, convulsions, and death.
Excessive amounts of magnesium may cause central nervous system depression, respiratory paralysis, and cardiac arrest.
Inhalation:
Dust is irritating to the respiratory tract. May cause methemoglobinemia, cyanosis, convulsions, tachycardia, dyspnea, and death. May cause effects similar to those described for ingestion.
Chronic:
Repeated exposure may cause kidney damage and digestive tract abnormalities.

  Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower lids. Get medical aid.
Skin:
