According to the latest statistics, China's pesticide exports in 2020 will reach 11.68 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 14.6%, and a new record.
In 2020, the state has formulated a series of relief policies to benefit enterprises to get through the effects of epidemic:
In February, the Pesticide Management Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs promptly resumed export management measures that only use pesticides abroad;
In March, the "Announcement on Increasing Export Tax Rebate Rates for Certain Products" was released to promote pesticide export trade;
In June, the pesticide export registration policy was introduced, effectively promoting the growth of pesticide export trade.
With the protection and promotion of the above policies and measures to help companies benefit from the rescue, China's pesticide exports achieved double-digit growth last year, becoming the best year for pesticide exports in the past 10 years.
In 2020, the export volume (cargo volume) of pesticides was 2.395 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 29.3%; the export value was US$11.68 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.6%, and further increase the share in the international market.
