Based on some key products in chemical industry, Molbase has developed “Chemical Industry Map”. Each Chemical Industry Map presents a whole picture of supplier network of a certain type of chemicals, allowing customers and suppliers to locate each other in an efficient manner. So far, we have developed up to ten pieces of Chemical Industry Maps, containing a total of 5,824 chemicals involving 395 sub-industries, and over 40,910 suppliers in over 700 cities in China.

The development of chemical industry chain starts from the selection of key product, followed by the connection of the product with its downstream and upstream products and related suppliers and customers. This product-based inter-connection between customers and suppliers makes it convenient, to a great extent, for customers to match with suppliers with the right chemicals, while helping the suppliers sell its products to the downstream manufacturers.
